Software Testing - The Changing Shape of Software Quality – Highlights from the Australian Software Quality Forum and Insights into a Contemporary QA Process - Thursday 9 July

Tuesday, 23 Jun 2015

The Australian Software Quality Forum was recently held in Sydney as part of Vivid Ideas. The forum, now in its 12th year, reflected a distinct shift in focus for software quality practice. Reflecting the impact that distributed agile teams have had on the way software quality is managed, and the changing roles within QA, there was a need to rename the event from the Australian Test Manager’s Forum to the Software Quality Forum. Topics covered included keynotes on digital disruption and future of user experience from Malcolm Alder (Orchestrate) and Dr. Genevieve Bell (Intel) as well as case studies on continuous integration, agile cloud migration and crowd testing.

This session will draw together the highlights of the Forum, and then open up a practical panel discussion with members of the development and QA team at – who attended the Forum and will also offer reflections and insights into how they are practicing QA across the software lifecycle at Stayz.
