QUANTUM COMPUTING - Introduction to the Quantum Computing SIG - Tuesday 31 March

Tuesday, 10 Mar 2015

The one branch of computing that holds the most promise in terms of extraordinary possibility is Quantum Computing.

While classical computers are expected to improve for some years, the main classical evolution path – Morre’s law and the number of transistor count in microprocessors, is expected to hit its limits sometime in the coming decade.

In this first SIG meeting we will be looking at goals and plans for the SIG

Come and join discussion with Bill Trestrail, the General Manager Asia Pacific of D-Wave, the company that produced the first commercial quantum annealing computer.
