The guiding principle of the TCS CSR program is “Impact through Empowerment,” where empowerment is a process of strengthening the communities in which TCS operates.  The core areas for TCS’ CSR programs are Education, Health and the Environment. The TCS Pro Bono Community Program in Australia draws inspiration from our Pro Bono work in India, where we have leveraged our IT competence to create an Adult Literacy Program. Since its inception in 2000, the program has impacted the lives of almost 200,000 people across India.
