Managing through change..... what works and what doesn't work

Guest speaker, Miriam McNamee is Vice President of IT Services – Telstra, and responsible for IBM Global Services service delivery and client satisfaction to Telstra.

Over her time at IBM, she has worked in a variety of leadership positions and across culturally diverse teams on highly complex programmes and contracts. She has experience with clients across many industries including the transport, finance, manufacturing and distribution sectors.  The diversity of cultures within IBM’s global teams and across these client organisations has given Miriam a perspective on navigating these environments.

Miriam McNamee, IBM

Miriam has been with IBM for over 27 years, of which 20 have been in the IBM Services organization. She has extensive experience working across the globe with large, international organisations. Prior to Telstra, Miriam was responsible for leading global, multi-disciplined IT services contracts in Denmark and Switzerland.

Before Miriam moved to Europe in 2006, she was the General Manager Public Sector, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals for IBM Global Services Australia, where she was responsible for the leadership of the GTS services business across Australia for Government, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical clients. In this capacity she was also a member of the IBM Australia leadership board for IBMGSA.
