October Branch Forum: What should be the point of IT investment?

The aim of this presentation is to bring to light what the objectives in any IT investment should be. Whilst largely based on the research dissertation that answered the question: “What is the impact of IT investment upon the operations of international business?” Paul Tero will also bring more than two decades of IT industry experience to bear.

The first part of this 30 minute presentation will lay the foundation of what follows. This foundation comprises of a snapshot of his career, an outline of the motivations behind the study, and how the research was undertaken. Throughout the second part Paul will discuss the eight conclusions that he came to. And finally, Paul will raise some implications, questions if you will, for members of the audience to consider.
