National iAwards Judging
The state and territory iAwards finalists will be judged on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 August at the prestigious KPMG Melbourne offices.
ICT experts and thought leaders from Government, Mining, Health and Industry will collaborate on hot topics impacting our society and your clients. The discussions have already commenced on Yammer. The final workshops and plenary sessions will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 28 & 29 August. Register your attendance here.
This year, NICTA will run a free Hackathon event as part of the Infrastructure stream within Australia 3.0. infraHack will focus on infrastructure, transport and traffic congestion problems. The iAwards MasterClass is a series of expert presentations and workshops by successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. NICTA Tech Showcase
The 2014 NICTA TECH Showcase highlights NICTA’s latest information and communications technology (ICT) research and business ideas aimed at creating wealth for Australia. Visitors to the TECH showcase will have an opportunity to view practical demonstrations and talk to NICTA experts who are creating ICT-based solutions to real-world problems in: Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics; Broadband and the Digital Economy; and Security and Environment. Hills Young Innovator Awards
This year, Hills have sponsored a new award for outstanding innovations in Mobile, Big Data and Cloud. The Young Innovator Award is open to applicants under 25 years of age. A prize pool for $25,000 is on offer. The finalists will present at a public Pitchfest from 8.30-10am on Friday, 29 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Support Australia’s future innovators by attending the Pitchfest.
The Innovation Showcase will take place on Friday 29 August and is a compilation of videos providing information about the state/territory iAwards winners and merit recipients. They will also be available on YouTube after the event. Watch this space.

The culmination of the iAwards is the prestigious Gala Dinner which will be held in the Melbourne Room of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 29 August. A night of nights.
