Paul Ostaff offers food for thought at National ICT Careers Week Special Event

Friday, 01 Aug 2014

On Thursday 31st of July, 100+ ACS members braved the Melbourne weather to hear Paul Ostaff, Principal of Reignite Consulting, argue that in order to drive your career you have to think about ‘The End’.

Held at the Telstra Conference Centre, the special event saw Paul enlighten guests on what it actually takes to ‘drive your career’, how to build a picture, and how to develop a career plan with detailed skill sets and experience.  With over 20 years of business consulting experience, Paul definitely sparked much conversation as guests took the time to network, before heading home with some food for thought.

Held in conjunction with National ICT Careers Week, this was just one of over 100 events and activities being presented by businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, industry bodies, women's groups and professional bodies.

Each year during National ICT Careers Week, organisations and groups across Australia present an activity or event to encourage young people to consider studying ICT after their schooling and to consider a career in ICT.

The annual National ICT Careers Week is currently running across Australia from 28 July - 3 August 2014.
