National iAwards Judging
The state and territory iAwards winners will be judged on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 August at the prestigious KPMG offices.
The announcement of the 2014 iAwards national winners will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 29 August from 5pm – 6.30pm. Share in the excitement of the moment - Register your attendance here.
ICT experts and thought leaders from Government, Mining, Health and Industry will collaborate on hot topics impacting our society and your clients. The discussions have already commenced on Yammer. This year, NICTA will run a free Hackathon event as part of the Infrastructure stream within Australia 3.0. The Hackathon will focus on infrastructure, transport and traffic congestion problems. It will use datasets from the Victorian government and commercial players. More information is available here.
The iAwards MasterClass is a series of expert presentations and workshops by successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. NICTA Tech Showcase
NICTA’s Tech Showcase is a must-attend event where you can view the latest research and ICT demonstrations. It enables you to meet NICTA’s partners, thought-leaders, researchers and technology experts. The Tech Showcase will be open on 28 and 29 August. More information is available here.
Hills Young Innovator Awards
This year, Hills have sponsored a new award for outstanding innovations in Mobile, Big Data and Cloud. The Young Innovator Awards is open to applicants under 25 years of age. A prize pool for $25,000 is on offer. The finalists will present at a public Pitchfest from 8.30-10am on Friday, 29 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Innovation Showcase will take place on Friday 29 August and is a compilation of videos providing information about the state/territory iAwards winners and merit recipients. They will also be available on YouTube. Watch this space.
The culmination of the iAwards is the prestigious Gala Dinner. It will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 29 August. A night of nights. An evening of celebration. The one occasion when the whole national ICT industry comes together. The networking is awesome. Be there.
