Wednesday, 23 Jul 2014

The Australian Computer Society is pleased to announce The Education Centre of Australia (ECA) as a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s Youth Festival of IT (YITCON 14).

The Education Centre of Australia (ECA) emphasises innovation and excellence in educational programs across a wide range of disciplines in demand in Australia. The ECA group encompasses a range of schools, colleges and courses which allow students opportunities to work in the international arena and realise their global career aspirations.

“ECA is proud to be a platinum sponsor of the YITCON event, which will provide an invaluable opportunity for young ICT professionals to gain insight into the latest developments, challenge established modes of thinking, exchange ideas and build powerful professional networks,” said Rupesh Singh, CEO of ECA.

YITCON 14 will be held on 9 and 10 October 2014 at The Forum in Melbourne to bring together more than 1,000 students and young professionals interested in ICT to discover how they can prosper.

“We are honoured by the commitment and generosity of ECA, an organisation which shares our belief in helping young people prepare for the digital future. YITCON is an extraordinary learning opportunity for Australia’s youth, and one of the many ways the ACS serves as Australia’s trusted source for lifelong learning in ICT,” said Alan Patterson, CEO of ACS.
