Deadline closes 1 August for the Hills Young Innovator Award. These are open to outstanding achievers in the ICT industry under 25 years of age. The award recognises the most innovative ICT solutions and ideas with the greatest potential for impact in Mobile, Big Data and Cloud.
Up to 15 lucky finalists will be selected and mentored by the industry’s top employers. They will work together to develop and refine their innovation or idea and then deliver a final pitch to judges at TechFest in Melbourne.
Judges will be looking for creative ideas and solutions that solve problems, have the potential for great impact and demonstrate vision and commercial viability.
The Hills Young Innovator Award is a new addition to the Pioneer Domain of iAwards for 2014. It is sponsored by Hills in alignment with their continued commitment to Australian innovation and inspired by the outstanding achievements of Lance Hill who invented the Hills Hoist clothesline in 1945.
This life-changing opportunity aims to showcase the skills and ideas of young innovators on a national stage and place them firmly on the radar of the country's most sought after employers and investors.
