To celebrate the iAwards 20th anniversary, our major partner Hills is launching the Young Innovator of the Year award. This exciting new initiative demonstrates Hills' commitment to driving the future of innovation in Australia.
For two decades the annual iAwards program has recognised our nation's leading ICT innovators, elevating and launching the careers and businesses of hundreds of award winners in the process.
Hills is now searching for the next generation of big thinkers - our innovators of tomorrow!
- Do you have a great new idea?
- Would you like to be recognised for your innnovation?
- Could you use $5,000 to help your career?
- Do you know someone under the age of 25 who would be interested in this opportunity? Share this email with them today!
The awards will showcase the skills and ideas of young innovators on a national stage and place them firmly on the radar of the country's most sought after employers and investors.
Judges will be looking for creative ideas and solutions that solve problems, have the potential for great impact and demonstrate vision and commercial viability.
Submissions are being sought in three categories:
Up to 30 lucky finalists will be selected and mentored by the industry’s top employers. They will work together to develop and refine their innovation or idea and then deliver a final pitch to judges at TechFest in Melbourne.
A $5,000 cash prize will be awarded to one winner in each category and the three national winners will be announced at the iAwards National Gala Dinner on Friday, 29 August, also in Melbourne.
Go to the iAwards website for more information about the nomination process and judging criteria.
Nominations are NOW OPEN and close 5pm Friday, 18 July 2014.
