A case study O’Brien Glass / Smith & Smith with Intergen

The modern work style is changing, and with it so are our tools. What should be front of mind for organisations seeking to leverage the ubiquitous nature of devices in today’s workforce?

In this session we will explore:
  • The benefits of mobile: why has mobile become so prominent, and why are organisations investing in mobile technology?
  • Return on mobile investment: what should you consider when evaluating mobile projects, and how do costs relate to scale and user experience?
  • Mobile architectures: what are the moving parts, where does cloud fit in, and how can mobile coexist with your existing technology investments?
  • Implementation: How are mobile projects different and what do you need to consider before embarking on your next project?
We will also look at a real world example of an organisation investing in mobile technology to understand why, and how they are going about it, including a preview of the application itself.

Amidst an ever growing pool of technologies used to delivery functionality to workers, this session should provide some thought provoking insight into the delivery of mobile capability for the modern workforce.
