Almost 400 people packed into Crown Entertainment Complex Melbourne on the 26th of May to listen to Randi Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media, discuss ten trends that are empowering today’s entrepreneurs.
ACS President Brenda Aynsley OAM performed the official welcome and set the scene by explaining that as a net importer of technology and innovations, Australia’s ability to absorb advances and convert them into new business opportunities was critical, and to that end this event was all about understanding disruptive forces, embracing the future, and developing successful new business models.
Zuckerberg did not miss a beat for the entire session covering the age of the Entre-ployee, the need to think like a media company, connections being a currency and the new frontiers in education and health care.
More information and pictures of this event, will be available soon in Information Age.
