Micro Disruptions: Small Scale Apps that redefine the solution space.

The world is going mobile.

It’s true, there is an app for everything. Some apps have drastically changed industries, causing disruption to everything from messaging, booking a taxi, finding a hotel room, taking notes and even the humble light bulb. The list is endless.

Stuart will explore the rise of apps, the decline of desktop and the web, but how the mobile web is still critical in a future where mobile apps dominate.

Stuart has been involved in mobile since the early days of the App Store, building and launching over 30 apps both for himself and others.

After founding Filter Squad with David Mckinney in 2011 they went on to raise $1.1m to build the Discovr series of applications which achieved over 3.5 million downloads.

Stuart currently builds a suite of mobile applications for his company Bytesize Apps. He also runs the successful AppBot services that has delivered over 15 million app reviews to many of the biggest app developers in the world.
