ICT for Women in Victoria's International Women's Day Breakfast - held today!

Today, the ICT Women in Victoria SIG, a collaboration between ACS Victoria and Vic ICT for Women, hosted its 2nd International Women's Day (IWD) breakfast at the RACV City Club in Melbourne (also the 7th joint  IWD breakfast for ACS and Vic ICT for Women).

This sold out event was attended by over 120 guests, featuring an insightful discussion between Andrew Walduck (CIO, Australia Post) and Jane Treadwell (Former CEO, DesignGov), and was moderated by Dr Sandi Caspi Sable. The topic of discussion, 'Celebrating Diversity' was chosen as it reflected the global theme of International Women's Day 2014 - 'Inspiring Change'.

The 'Inspiring Change' theme encourages advocacy for women's advancement everywhere in every way. It calls for challenging the status quo for women's equality and vigilance inspiring positive change.
