ACS endorsed landmark conferences - a great success!

Friday, 22 Nov 2013

This week the ACS was a proud partner in the very successful  running of three major conferences located at Melbourne's iconic Melbourne Cricket Groung (MCG).

The 8th Data Management (DAMA) Conference; the first Australian Enterprise Architecture Conference; and the first Australian Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Conference attracted a range of distinguished international and local speakers, including John Zachman, the 'father' of Enterprise Architecture, Dr Peter Aitken, the President of DAMA International, and Dr Randy Bartlett, author of "A Practitioner's Guide to Business Analytics'.

Delegates received a range of excellent presentations, rich opportunities for discussion with the speakers, as well as ample time to network with fellow guests. Though it was not all work, but also play, with activities including a tour of the historic venue, a conference dinner, and later dancing the night away to an ABBA 'look alike' band, totally dispelling any geek impressions!
