Young IT in the Pub - Special Trivia Night! Put your knowledge to the test!

We are pleased to announce the final YIT in the Pub event for this year. Come and join us on a trivia night extravaganza. Your host for the night will test your knowledge and ensure that everyone battles it out for prizes!!

There will be drinks and snacks, tech trivia to stretch your brain, and the opportunity to network and the chance to win awesome prizes, both as individuals and in teams. So bring along your smarts, your sense of humour and hopefully walk away with a sensational prize.

Austraining International will also be speaking about fully-funded volunteering overseas with the Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) and the Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) programs, which are Australian Government initiatives.

From December 1st 2013, there will be over 25 roles open for application for Australian IT professionals experienced in IT Support, Software Development, Network Administration, Web Development, Database Administration and IT Consultancy. Every year the AVID and AYAD programs place 600 Australians on fully-funded volunteer assignments throughout Asia, the Pacific, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, ranging from 1 – 24 months in duration. Volunteers work with local organisations to achieve sustainable development through skills exchange and institutional strengthening.

If you are aged 18-30 and have between 1-3 years of experience, register your interest to the AYAD monthly e-newsletter here and you will be forwarded opportunities.
