Use of Social Media in the Workplace Survey

The past decade has witnessed an increasing interest in the roles that social media play in organisations and in society. This study aims to better understand the diffusion of social media for the workplace in organisations, along with its current business usage and future potential.

You are invited to participate in this survey. Your input and contribution are greatly valued, and will contribute to a better understanding of social media in organisations. Please note that this is an anonymous survey and your confidentially is maintained.

The survey is made up of three sections. Section A is on your personal profile; Section B is about the organisation’s profile; and Section C is about your perceptions. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. Please answer all questions.

This study is conducted by Professor Eng Chew ( and Dr Chadi Aoun (, from the School of Systems, Management, and Leadership, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, at the University of Technology, Sydney.
