The first Cloud Protocol Consultation session around the nation was held in Melbourne on Monday 19 August. The session was facilitated by the ACS and Duncan McIntyre from the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy (DBCDE).
This interactive event was a huge success; with over 160 guests’ input helping shape the final policy on how cloud services will be managed and marketed in Australia.
This National Cloud Computing Strategy was released by the Federal Government on 29 May 2013, with ACS leading the consultation on the industry code of conduct.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to 5 September 2013. Submissions can be made in writing to email@example.com and will be available for public viewing shortly after the deadline.
