With the rapid increase of cloud computing as a new delivery platform in Australia, what are the facts consumers must have to make a decision about whether to move to the cloud or not? What should cloud suppliers disclose to potential users about costs, data sovereignty, privacy and security?
The Federal Government has just released a national Cloud Strategy. In it they have called for an industry code of conduct to apply to cloud suppliers. The ACS is leading the consultation on this code.
