On Thursday 16 May, the Australian Computer Society - Victorian Branch was invited by RMIT University to support the recognition of outstanding student achievements in 2012 at the Annual Prize Giving Ceremony, held at held at RMIT Storey Hall, 342 Swanston Street Melbourne.
Jo Dalvean, Vice-Chair, ACS Victoria and John Graham, Board Member, ACS Victoria attended the evening which saw Benjamin Giddings awarded as the outstanding student for 2012 in the Bachelor of Business (Business Information Systems). Benjamin was presented a certificate of achievement and a gift from ACS Victoria for his outstanding achievements in 2012.
The College of Business has a reputation of producing industry ready graduates of academic excellence. The annual Prize Giving Ceremony recognises their hard work and perseverance towards their studies and further encourages them to succeed in their future career.
The variety of prize sponsors is a strong indication of the support the College has from industry and the community.
