ACS Leaders Breakfast
(Carl Terrantroy, CTO, CA Technologies presenting at the CIO Leaders Breakfast)

On Wednesday 8 May, the ACS welcomed 80 high profile IT Professionals within Victoria for the Leaders Breakfast which was held in the Club Pavilion at the RACV Club.  This special event was a platform that created an atmosphere of buzz for some fantastic networking amongst guests and featured the CTO of CA Technologies, Carl Terrantroy.

Carl provided a dynamic presentation covering CA Technologies’ global ‘The Future Role of the CIO: Digital Literacy’ report, which is a study that reveals that 83% of Australian CIOs interviewed believe a lack of digital literacy amongst senior executives could be hampering business growth.

At the breakfast function, Ernest Stabek, Vice Chairman of ACS Victoria also acknowledged Grantly Mailes, Chief Technology Advocate, Deputy Secretary, Innovation & Technology Division, Department of State Development, Business and Innovation, as an Honorary Member of the Victorian Branch of ACS.

A special thank-you must also be extended to our Platinum Sponsor; CA Technologies as well as our Gold Sponsor; Revolution IT for what was a very successful event.

Stay tuned for future CIO Leaders functions to be run later in the year!
