iAwards

iAwards winners are leading ICT companies, professionals and pioneers who all share an entrepreneurial spirit.

The iAwards honours both companies at the cutting edge of technology innovation as well as leading professionals across the ICT industry. Most importantly, the iAwards recognises the achievements of home-grown Australian innovators.

The iAwards State Presentations are where iAwards host organisations, local branches, sponsors and members of the local ICT industry announce the State and Territory winners and national finalists for the prestigious 2013 iAwards.

We invite you to join us in honouring the best and most innovative solutions in each State or Territory.

Gordon Rich-Phillips is the Minister for Technology and Minister responsible for the Aviation Industry. He is also the Assistant Treasurer of Victoria.

For the five years prior to this Gordon was employed by IBIS Business Information working in a range of economic research and analysis roles as well as working on a number of significant private sector consulting projects. A pilot since the age of 16, Gordon holds a Commercial Pilot Licence and Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating and has flown a variety of single and twin engine aircraft throughout much of south east Australia.

Elected at the age of 25, Gordon is the youngest person ever elected to the Victorian Legislative Council and is currently the youngest Cabinet Minister in Victoria.

Mr Rich-Phillips is a Member for South Eastern Metropolitan Melbourne.
