NASSCOM Innovation Student Awards - Call for Nominations

NASSCOM is the premier trade body and chamber of commerce of the IT software and services industry in India. With 1,374 member companies in software development, software services and IT-enabled BPO services, the winners and highly commended awardees will be broadcast to these global members providing universal exposure of immeasurable value to the future of the top teams' innovations.

NASSCOM Australia companies include Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys Technologies, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Oracle India, iGate Patni, HCL, Polaris, Mahindra Satyam, NIIT, Zensar Technologies, Mindtree, Mphasis and Genpact.

Members have invested upwards of $100M to setup more than 20 development centres in Australia and currently employ more than 7000 people in Australia. We have strong links with many universities in Australia to recruit students for global projects, run student internships programs and have established scholarships.

The categories in the 2013 NASSCCOM Innovation Student Awards are IT Innovation and IT-enabled Business Innovation. IT Innovation is for any IT-related Technological Innovation, so encompasses new processes, innovation design, systems and device innovation. IT-enabled Business Innovation is for any innovation business application or process and could be systems based, cloud based or mobile.

Both categories have the same criteria, namely Innovation, Performance and Potential. Students have to demonstrate that their innovation is unique, provides real user benefits and has great world-wide potential. The judges may confer as many or few awards as they agree meets these key criteria.

The Awards will be presented at CeBIT in Sydney on the evening of Wednesday 29th May, in front of an audience of more than 700 IT Professionals.
