Queensland ICT Services Panel

Tuesday, 19 Feb 2013

The Queensland Government is soon to release the ICT Services Panel to improve the outcomes in the engagement of information and communication technology (ICT) services from specialist organisations.

The objectives of the proposed ICT services panel arrangement are to:

  • realise potential woG savings through streamlining and standardising the procurement of ICT services
  • provide small to medium enterprises with the opportunity to compete for government contracts for ICT services
  • generate useful woG baseline data with respect to the procurement of ICT services.

Through its representation on the Queensland ICT Workgroup, the ACS has been involved over the past 18 months in the shaping of this panel. The ACS will accordingly support it to the full and are very pleased to see it released to create a mechanism for organisations to productively engage with Government.

It is understood that Tranche 1 Invitation to Offer seeking Offers from the market is almost ready for release to the market.
