January Special Branch Forum: Accelerating BI/DW Value with Agile Methods

Thursday, 31 Jan 2013

On Wednesday 30th January ACS Victoria ran its first Branch Forum for 2013. This Branch Forum was run in conjunction with C3 Business Solutions, who proudly sponsored the international guest speaker, Ceregenics’ Ralph Hughes – author of the ground-breaking “Agile Data Warehousing” book series.

Mr Hughes provided an insightful presentation, covering the results of the first annual Agile Data Warehousing Adoption Survey, undertaken in collaboration with The Data Warehousing Institute. This research incorporated responses from over 350 companies, with the results providing strong evidence that agile data warehousing has arrived as a reliable solution to some of DW/BI’s greatest challenges.

This was a very well received event, with 160 members and non-members in attendance.
Stay tuned for our upcoming Branch Forums for 2013!
