<p>85% of employees are not engaged or are actively disengaged at work, with recent research finding that organisations slow to adapt to rapid changes in information technology being a major contributor.  <br><br>‘Digital Revolutionaries’ – employees identified as those who work in fully enabled digital workplaces where new workplace technologies are in widespread use are more likely to have strong job satisfaction, be positive about their work-life balance and more likely to be more productive in their roles. These organisations have realised 10% higher customer metrics, 17% higher productivity, 20% higher sales and 21% higher profitability.<br><br>It is therefore imperative for organisations to address the human element of digital transformation – that is how they will engage and empower employees to fully utilise new technologies in their roles.  Beyond productivity, digital tools unlock human benefits.<br><br>Join us for this special technical presentation in conjunction with GS1 Australia, where Cecily Macdougall will talk about creating Digital Revolutionaries as well as the impacts around engaged and disengaged staff within a workforce.<br><br><i>Online registration is required. <br>Light refreshments will be provided.</i></p>

Dr Cecily Macdougall is the Managing Director of Building4Business Pty Ltd. Cecily is a transformation coach and has specialised in guiding and leading organisations from Strategy-to-Execution and transformation sustainability.

Cecily is a recognised expert and has re-established several transformation programs so that they have been successfully delivered and adopted. These successful transformation programs have implemented strategic initiatives, built new capabilities, products, services or applications, increased organisational performance, and produced significant outcomes in difficult, agile, risk laden and complex environments.

  • ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
