TasGDS Plays: The Last of Us

Join the Tasmanian Games Development Society (TasGDS) to discuss the opening hours of The Last of Us, led by Adam (Blue Crimson). After making waves when it was first released and with the sequel looming in the near future, this is a great time to go back and take a look at just what made this game so great!

<p>Our goal is to talk about anything and everything that people can think to bring up with regards to the game from story and characters, to audio and video design, and even to some of the trickery and wizardry involved in making a game look and feel the way The Last of Us does.</p> <p>Anyone who wants to be physically present can turn up and have a chat with us while we play, but the event will also be streamed live <a href="" target="_blank"></a>, so everyone is invited to tune in and join the discussion online.</p> <p>The space will be open from 6:30pm, aiming for a 7pm start.</p> <p>Drinks and snacks will be provided.<br><br>Venue info: <br> <a href="" target="_blank"></a><br><br>Enterprize<br>Level 5<br>24 Davey St<br>Hobart TAS 7000<br>(Blue door on Davey Street side)</p> <ul><li>Access to the building is via the blue door on the side of the HCC building (not the corner door)</li><li>Once inside, there will be someone who can let you through the foyer door to the elevators</li><li>Take the elevator to level 5 and turn to your left</li></ul> <p>There will be someone down in the foyer at the beginning of the event to let people upstairs.<br>If you are a little later and there is no one in the foyer, use the intercom (pictured), or comment here and someone will come down to let you in!</p>
