Starting out in mechanical engineering, he moved a few years later moving into industrial networks and process controls engineering. John has always been focused on the technical side of large scale projects.

He has been deep in blockchain-related applications for the past five years. In the jungles of Akyem, Ghana, he created his first Bitcoin transaction in exchange for malaria medication for the locals. This original transaction was made just after the first Mt Gox bubble on 28 May 2013.

John has since become obsessed in the latest and greatest innovations coming out of the blockchain world. From Bitcoin to Ethereum to Hyperledger, he has been heavily involved in the blockchain community since the early days.
Alex Dunmow, Managing Director at NinjaDojo Software Development Pty Ltd

Alex brings with him two decades of software development and infrastructure experience. From his glory days of Quake-modding as a child, to building distributed cloud solutions for his clients, Alex uses his experience to select the correct tools for the job - whether large or small.

While being excited about the technical merits of blockchain technology, he remains a skeptic when it comes to its commercial application, being weary of the hype surrounding the technology. He takes great care to help people see the true innovation that can be realised by the Nakamoto consensus approach.

He and John sit on opposite sides of the (bit)coin, bringing healthy and constant debate, discussion and analysis of trends and possibilities. Alex is always willing to engage in conversations that explores potential commercial applications of bitcoin technology. As always, he will try to steer people in the right direction, rather than the most exciting.
We look forward to seeing you then!
