Questions welcome.</span></span> <br><br><b>OUR PANEL INCLUDES</b><br>  <br><b>Ivy Clark</b> has worked in client- and agency-side digital teams, in the public and private sector for over 20 years. During that time, Ivy contributed to project deliveries in various capacities, with a mix of business, creative and technical competencies.<br><br>Ivy believes that helping organisations make sense of digital, ultimately benefits everyone, because embracing digital is key to good service design.<br><br>As an active member in the IT and web community in Perth, you will find Ivy volunteering at events and co-hosting meetups from time to time. She co-sponsors the Accessibility Meetup group.<br> <br><b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Joanne Church</span></span></b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;"> is a software development team lead and system analyst for Perth-based start-up iCetana. She leads a team of analysts, developers and testers to develop intelligent video-based security systems that complement the CCTV systems used by their clients.</span></span> <br>  <br><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">For over 18 years Joanne, has been a developer and analyst in Perth. Having worked for large companies, small companies and contracted to government agencies, Joanne has seen the evolution of her field from a male-dominated individualistic environment to a gender-balanced user-centered and collaborative environment. Joanne was recently awarded a scholarship to study her MBA at Curtin University as part of their Women in MBA program. </span></span> <br>  <br><b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Louise Capper</span></span></b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;"> is a Software Verification &amp; Validation (V&amp;V) Manager at Thales Australia, with more than 25 years of experience in computer science education, software &amp; hardware development and test. She has specialised in independent V&amp;V of large and complex software systems for more than 15 years.</span></span> <br>  <br><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Louise has been involved in software development and V&amp;V in a wide variety of domains from manufacturing, finance, education, system administration, transport, fare collection, resources and defence and worked on projects in Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore and throughout Australia. </span></span> <br>  <br><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Louise also runs the highly successful TestWest conference.</span></span> <br> <br><b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Marjan Zia </span></span></b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">is a passionate software developer who feels lucky to work in the finance industry. Her main hobby is to build applications that bring benefits to the end users. She is a very customer focused person who puts the customers at the heart of her development cycle. Her main career goal is to become a tech-lead to aid development teams with designing software packages.</span></span> <br>  <br><b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">MC:</span></span> <br> </b><br><b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Rebecca Waters </span></span></b><span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">is a software engineer and project manager with over 10 years of experience. She feeds off the enthusiasm of others and contributes widely to the Perth software industry. Rebecca is a mentor in and outside of her company to junior developers and other professionals, an ex-officio board member of the Australian Industry and Defence Network of WA, and committee member of the Australian Computer Society</span></span> <span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">—</span></span> <span style="font-family: verdana,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Women chapter.</span></span> <br>

  • ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
  • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
