<div>The world today is complex and uncertain. Organisations are wanting flexibility and there is a push to make everything more ‘agile’. But how does this impact IT projects and how they are delivered?<br><br>The professions are coming under increased pressure and competition. In a global marketplace and with a shift towards a gig economy, permanent, full-time roles may be a thing of the past. <br> <br>This presentation will examine the current megatrends that are shaping the future of not only project management, but also other professions. In particular it will examine how the changes in society, technology, employment, energy, population, environment, population, politics, and identity give rise to our future and as such will transform the projects we deliver as project managers, the way in which project management is undertaken, and the workplaces that we operate within.<br> <br>Come and joint us to hear from Michael Young, who is a multiple-award winning entrepreneur, international speaker and author. As an industry expert, Michael has been interviewed and quoted by BRW, Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and the Canberra Times. Michael is a multiple-award winning entrepreneur, international speaker and author. As a leading international expert in project, program and portfolio management and strategy implementation, Michael is actively engaged in the international project management community where he is involved with developing international standards in project, program and portfolio management. As an industry expert, Michael has been interviewed and quoted by BRW, Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and the Canberra Times. Michael holds volunteer positions as Director - Australian Institute of Project Management, ISO Technical Committee 258and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Canberra. Michael has edited two books and authored over 50 book chapters, academic and industry articles. Michael works with government to find clarity and improve organizational performance by implementing organizational program and portfolio delivery capabilities.

  • ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
  • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
