She helps leaders globally, create powerful presentations with compelling business stories.<br><br>She is an International Speaker, member of Professional Speakers Association Australia, a TEDx Speaker Coach, and Speechwriter.<br>Lisa links the theme of inclusion and accessibility for the night to the idea that all dreams are possible, despite the obstacles thrown in your path.<br><br><b>Our Locknote Speaker</b> will be <b>WAITTA Achiever of the Year – Dr Vivienne Conway</b> who will talk about Accessibility and Inclusion in the workplace.  She is an ardent advocate for the effective recognition of the needs of people with disabilities and their inclusion in our digital society.<br> <br>Dr Conway was recently announced as a finalist in the ACS Digital Disrupter’s “ICT Professional of the Year” Award. She completed her PhD in IT (website accessibility) at Edith Cowan University. She is a Certified Professional (Snr) member, and member of the WA Branch Executive Committee of the Australian Computer Society. She is active in W3C and the working groups, where her company Web Key IT is a member. This year she was the co-General Chair of the Web For All Conference (W4A 2017) held in Perth.<br> <br>This is a formal, end of year celebration so <b>black tie</b> (or a more diverse colour), pretty frocks or outrageous outfits of an appealing nature are all welcome. Last year we saw a Unicorn empress, some traditional dresses from across the globe and a rather dapper scarlet suit. It was also rumoured that Neo from the Matrix made an appearance. Dr Vivienne Conway is the Director of Web Key IT Pty Ltd which she founded in 2011. Web Key IT has a vision to enable website access for persons with disabilities. Web Key IT assists organisations with web-based programs and information to meet the needs of people with disabilities as well as to understand their legal requirements for website accessibility and develop the tools needed to meet the internationally-recognised website standards. As well as being involved in research and conference presentations, Vivienne leads her team of accessibility professionals to provide consulting, audit and accreditation and training in all aspects of digital accessibility. She is an ardent advocate for the effective recognition of the needs of people with disabilities and their inclusion in our digital society. Vivienne was recently announced as this years winner of the WAITTA Achiever of the Year award and is a finalist in the ACS Digital Disrupters ICT Professional of the Year .Vivienne completed her PhD in IT (website accessibility) at Edith Cowan University.   • ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.

  • ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
  • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
