Please do not register if you are unable to attend this event in person.<br><br>Join ACS on 22nd July as we hear and learn from Sheryl Frame, CEO, Inspiring Holdings, and ACS Digital Disruptor of the year winner 2019. At this event, Sheryl will look at how good ideas, become great ideas when they are coupled with strategic and commercial thinking. Calling on her wide experience in the industry she will walk through the various points on the innovation journey that should relate to wider-reaching business goals, from: <ul><li>Understanding your product offering</li><li>Understanding your customer and their needs</li><li>Building a commercial model that is fit for purpose</li><li>How to integrate innovative thinking with commercial acumen </li></ul> For anyone who has had a great idea and wants to take it to the next level, this event will give you the road map that you need to build out a cohesive business model alongside your innovation. <br><br><b>Please note: </b> <ul><li>This is a hybrid event, with the event taking place in Perth and being virtually delivered across the country to smaller satellite events run by each branch. </li><li>Questions from the audience across the country in the satellite events can be submitted via a text message which will go through to the moderator.</li></ul> <b>Draft Agenda (Canberra time; the livestream will start at 6pm AEST)</b><br>5:30pm – Guests arrival and registrations<br>6:00pm – ACS Welcomes audience and speaker<br>6:05pm – Speaker presentation commences<br>6:45pm – questions from audience facilitated by ACS<br>6:58pm – ACS to thank the audience and speaker<br>7:00pm – Networking<br>7:30 pm - Event concludes<br><br><b>IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ATTENDEES </b><br>1) <b>Access to the conference room:</b> Please arrive no later than 5:30 PM. All members need to come to reception located at the Foyer, Ground Floor, 2 Bowes Street, Phillip <b><a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/ACT+Health/@-35.3420094,149.0856595,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x7299a139fa44bddc!8m2!3d-35.3422268!4d149.0857112" target="_blank">MAP</a></b>.  The ACT Health staff will be there to welcome you, sign you in and escort you into the building and up to the conference room on level 2.<br><br><b>2) Check-in CBR:</b> Due to the importance of contact tracing for COVID-19 purposes if required, it is important to have your attendance registered and scan the Check-in CBR QR code.<br><br><b>3) ACS event registration QR code</b>: Upon your arrival, please make sure to have your ACS event registration QR code visible and ready for scan at the registration desk where your attendance will be recorded. You can find your QR code in your ACS event confirmation email and a reminder sent to you three days before the event; you can provide the QR code via your phone or a printed copy or a screenshot of your email etc.

  • ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
  • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
  • Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure

Personal information collection notice

By registering for this event, you are providing personal information to the Australian Computer Society. In accordance with the ACS Privacy Policy, ACS collects personal information through registrations and attendances at its events for the purposes of:

  • organising and providing the various professional development events held by the ACS (including for example, courses, conferences, seminars, workshops, launches);
  • processing and managing event registrations (including catering for dietary requirements);

When you register to participate in an overseas event, we may send personal information we collect overseas.
