We underinvest in ‘soft skills’, largely because they are hard to measure. We are rarely taught them and often expected to develop them through our own trial and error. Yet, with a little focus and conscious awareness, these skills can enhance our work lives, help us to become a desired employee and encourage us to want to operate in a more productive and rewarding environment.<br><br>Essential in all professional roles, from early career to Managers, CEO’s, Board Members and the like; these ‘skills&#39; unlock a multitude of opportunities for those who are willing to take the time (and energy) needed to develop and continuously improve them.
