<p>What should you be doing to future proof your business or company in preparation for the next wave of disruptive and innovative tech?<br> <br>In this fireside chat event Aaron Birkby, CEO of Startup Catalyst, will be joined by guest speakers sharing some of the innovative technology and business models they have seen, that are much closer than you may believe. They will further discuss how to think more like a startup, the future of work and how to make the most out of emerging disruptive tech in the market.<br><br>Aaron Birkby is a tech entrepreneur, having successfully built and exited several startups since the age of sixteen. Aaron joined Startup Catalyst in 2016 after it was founded by Shark Tank investor, Steve Baxter, to expose Australia&#39;s technical talent to the tsunami of innovation that is happening overseas. Today, Startup Catalyst delivers 9 missions a year to global startup hotspots like Silicon Valley, London, Tel Aviv, and Hong Kong. <br><br><b>About EdXN</b><br>Education Across the Nation (EdXN) is a signature part of the ACS speaker series. Held quarterly, EdXN presents experts sharing topical insights about the ICT sector today and tomorrow. Aaron Birkby

Aaron is a tech entrepreneur, having successfully built and exited several startups since the age of sixteen. He is the CEO of Startup Catalyst, leading startup and investor missions to Silicon Valley, Europe, Israel and Asia. He is the co-founder of Peak Persona, delivering programs to help founders achieve their peak mental performance. Aaron also serves on the Board of StartupAUS. In 2016 Aaron was awarded the national Benson Award for Entrepreneurship, and also the Pearcey Award as entrepreneur of the year for Queensland, prior to which he was also the Entrepreneur In Residence for the River City Labs Accelerator.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
