The Life Time Achievement Award made only to Professionals who have dedicated their lives to working in the industry & making a difference to the people that work in sales & management. Steve was recognised for his contribution to sales & communication and to businesses in general. 

Setting new trends in training and evolutionary ways to ensure people know that the art of selling and to communicate effectively has changed and in an ever changing marketplace, he has developed ways that teach you how to inspire people to take action. He says, “Gone are the days of pushy hard closing selling” and Businesses must evolve if they want to maximise every opportunity. Steve also says “Selling and Customer Care skills can be learnt and when implemented correctly, will increase sales dramatically”. Gavin is an accomplished and pragmatic software engineer who has delivered world-class solutions on a global stage at Rovio Entertainment (creator of Angry Birds), Nokia, Barclays Bank, Australian Passports, Amer Sports, Optus, and Commonwealth Bank to name a few.

Back when neural networks were just beginning to recognise cats on YouTube, Gavin was already leveraging machine learning on the development of the "Wilson X Connected Basketball" for real time shot prediction combined with computer vision to recognise individual basketball players during a live match.

Today Gavin heads up Tech Insite where he leads and mentors a small but elite team of software engineers focused on delivering high-quality software.   • Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance

By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions

  • If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
  • If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
  • We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
  • ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
  • All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
