ACSWA BRANCH CONFERENCE 2009

 

 

"The Global Financial Recession - Where is IT?"

The ACSWA Branch Conference will be held on Wednesday 9 September 2009. The venue is Technology Park Conference Centre, 2 Brodie Hall Drive, Technology Park, Bentley. This is an all day event and we have a range of top class speakers already confirmed. Our Keynote Speaker is Dr Helen Armstrong, BCom, Grad Dip Ed, Post Grad Dip IS, PhD, FACS, IEEE from Curtin University of Technology, School of IS. Dr Armstrong is a Fellow of ACS and is the recipient of the 2008 WAITTA Award for Service Delivery for the CISCO ACADEMY for the Vision Impaired and the recipient of the 2009 WAITTA Award as the WA ICT Achiever of the year. Dr Armstrong has recently returned from a 12 month sabbatical working at the US Army Academy West Point.

The day will start at 8.30am with registraions and the days proceedings will commence at 9.00am. There will be morning tea, afternoon tea, lunch and networking food and drinks at the close of the day. There is ample parking in the grounds of the Conference Centre.

Cancellation Policy: ACS is pleased to provide full refunds for cancellation advised within 5 days of the event. Cancellations after 5 days but before 2 days will receive  50% of the total amount. There will be no refunds for cancellations within 2 days of the event. You may substitute al colleague at any time if you are unable to attend.
