Overview:
The first generation of SOA implementations aimed primarily at figuring out how to create Services. The basic mechanics are now well known and the next generation aims at governance and management of Services as they are rolled out at an enterprise level. Correspondingly there is a new generation of standards and tools which aim to support these enterprise SOA concerns. This presentation will review the changing landscape of SOA standards and tools and the drivers behind their development.
