National ICT Careers Week: Special Careers Night Event!

As part of National ICT Careers Week, the ACS will be running a special event aimed at both Students and Young IT Professionals.

The event will feature two separate, parallel sessions which will allow the speaker's to focus on the target audience.

The Young Professional’s session will feature speakers on the topic of "Climbing up the IT Ladder".  Speakers for this stream include: Trish Henderson (OneSteel) who will deliver a presentation on 'Getting Recognised in Your Company', Ian Dennis (WhiteHorse Strategic) who will talk about the importance of 'Finding your Niche' and Martin Morgante (Banking & Finance Representative) will talk about 'Trends and Technology'.

The Student’s session will include speakers on the topic of "The Starting Line to a Successful IT Career".  Michelle Beveridge (IDP) will talk about 'Business Culture',
Mark Winter (Computers Off Australia) will talk about the exciting 'Careers in Green ICT' and Emma Holmes (Banking & Finance Representative) will give you 'Tips on Landing that First Job'.
