Welcome to the home page of the ACS Victoria Electronic Commerce Special Interest Group (e-Commerce SIG). The mission of the e-Commerce SIG is to:
  1. advance the knowledge and professionalism of its members in e-commerce trends, technologies and business processes

  2. provide a forum for its members to interact with, share information with and learn from each other

  3. promote e-Commerce within the wider community which increasingly relies on the Internet for executing business transactions, entertainment, accessing information, education and communication.
The e-Commerce SIG's principal activities are:
  • Monthly events, which normally have a guest speaker and include time for networking
  • Peer group interaction
  • Panel discussions
  • Web based information services
  • Conferencesi
