Welcome to the ACS Victorian Branch.

As the professional body for practitioners in the ICT industry, the Australian Computer Society (ACS) plays a critical and growing role in establishing and promoting standards of excellence and maintaining members' expertise with access to quality education.

With representation in every state and territory, we have the resources and national presence to meet the changing needs of our members as they seek to achieve their professional goals. We are the voice and guardian of standards and ethics in ICT, and have a commitment to the wider community to ensure the beneficial use of technology.

Over 16,000 ICT professionals have joined the ACS as part of their commitment to professional excellence. They benefit from a broad range of professional development activities, our industry-leading Certification Program, networking opportunities, information resources and other member benefits. They also enjoy the status and recognition that is afforded the ACS as a member of the Australian Council of Professions. The ACS became the first professional ICT society in the world to achieve a full professional status in its own right when it was admitted into the Australian Council of Professions in 1999 - an achievement of which the industry is justifiably proud.
