MySFIA
ICT is a powerful tool driving transformational business change across the global economy. For professionals working in ICT, the challenge is to maintain contemporary skills and knowledge while also preparing for career roles that may not yet exist.
MySFIA helps you navigate this constant technological change and map your path to career success. Based on the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), MySFIA enables you to determine your current skills profile, identify possible career roles, and recognise development areas to focus on to help achieve your goals.
For ACS Corporate Partners, MySFIA allows you to identify the skills base across your organisation and create future workforce development plans. Contact us for more information on how MySFIA can be used in your organisation to achieve transformational change.
ACS members can access MySFIA to complete a full skills profile assessment.
About MySFIA
The first step on your path to career success is to login to MySFIA and complete a skills profile self-assessment.
MySFIA will walk you through 96 pre-defined skills as used within the ICT profession, and ask you to classify your proficiency at each skill. Upon completion of the self-assessment, MySFIA will then provide you with a competency wheel as a graphical representation of your skills profile.
From here you select your identified career path from a range of occupation roles such as Enterprise Architect, Business Systems Analyst, Developer, Chief Information Officer. The competency wheel will then overlaying your current skills profile with the skill profile of your selected occupation, allowing you to identify the professional development areas to focus on.
Visit our calendar of events to find professional development opportunities that will support you to achieve your career ambitions.
ACS Capability Statement
If you’re looking to impress a potential new employer, why not have your skills profile independently validated by ACS? We can work with you to gather evidence of your competency against each of the skills you have identified and issue you with a SFIA Capability Statement. This will ensure you stand out from the crowd in competitive recruitment processes.
This is a chargeable service equivalent to a certification fee of $330 (inc. GST).
