How to Apply
What is the process?
To become a Certified Professional or a Certified Technologist, you will need to undergo a formal Certification Assessment. This assessment will analyse your skills and competencies as demonstrated by your education and experience.
Before you start, it is recommended that you read the pathways to certification.
A person must be an ACS Member before applying for certification. This is a competency certification, so there are no exams or study required.

Applying for CT/CP status
When you apply, our assessor will consider your experience and education. They will award you with the certification that fits with your competencies.
The Application fee is $330 (inc. GST). This fee is on top of the Annual Membership Fee, however is a one-off fee.
When you submit your application, you will need to provide your resume, as well as certificates for any education you have undertaken. It is also wise to submit employer references. If you have previously completed an ACS Skills Assessment for Migration purposes, please include your Skills Reference Number.
