Certification
Certification is your official recognition as an ICT professional. It provides the same recognition within industry afforded to other professional disciplines such as accounting, engineering and law, bringing you the rewards of global job opportunities and better remuneration. Certification also provides official recognition of your competencies to potential employers, rather than relying only on references.
To get certified, you need to have your skills, knowledge and experience verified by the ACS. We provide pathways for individuals in a wide range of circumstances to become certified.
Certified Professional (CP) is recognised by the International Professional Practice Partnership and the Australian Government as the benchmark for our ICT sector. To become a CP, you must demonstrate in-depth competency at Level 5 in at least one category of the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), a universal measure for classifying ICT skills.
