1. Computer Professional Education Program


You can enrol now for study period 1, 2008 – Charges will not be made until mid March

 

CPE Program is postgraduate IT professional education for motivated IT practitioners.  With mentored and collaborative learning, the CPE Program challenges your thinking and gives you a framework and the skills to address issues within your organisation. 

 

The CPE Program consists of four subjects:  Three core -   Business, Legal and Ethical Issues; New Technology Alignment; Business, Strategy and IT and one elective - Project Management; Adaptive Business Intelligence*; and IT Service Management*.    *Subjects will be offered if sufficient enrolments received.

 

Three 13 week study periods per year:  March to June; July to October and November to February.  Fees are $675 per subject (or $2700 for the full program) for ACS Members which is excellent value for postgraduate study.  Your time commitment is 8-10 hours per week. 

 

Study period 1 runs from 23 March – 21 June 2008 and enrolments are open now!

2.  Professional Development Survey

4. Business Communications Special Interest Group - Wednesday 6th February

Topic: The first meeting for the Business Communications SIG in 2008 will be a joint meeting with Rostrum Club 10. Club 10 focuses on presentations using aids such as projectors, overhead projectors, white boards, flip charts.

7. International ICT Expo 2008 - The World Marketplace for ICT
