5.  Computer Professional Education Program –  Hurry - enrolments close 16 March


Enrolments are closing soon, so if you are looking for practical, work-based postgraduate education  then the CPE Program will be just what you want.  With mentored and collaborative learning, the CPE Program challenges your thinking and gives you a framework and the skills to address issues within your organisation. 

 

The CPE Program consists of four subjects:  Three core -   Business, Legal and Ethical Issues; New Technology Alignment; Business, Strategy and IT and one elective - Project Management; IT Service Management will run in study period 1 whilst Adaptive Business Intelligence will commence in study period 2.

 

Three 13 week study periods per year:  March – June; July – October and November – February.  Fees  $675 per subject (or $2700 for the full program) for ACS Members.  Time commitment is 8-10 hours per week.  Study period 1 runs from 23 March – 21 June.   So if you are after a challenging, relevant and current postgraduate education program which is delivered totally online, enroll in the Computer Professional Education Program now!

6.  Mentor/coach for year 12 student

Would you, or someone you know,  like to give some direct encouragement to a young woman looking at a career in ICT? A year 12 ICT student (Unley High) would like some extra coaching. This would be paid at a negotiable hourly rate.

7. Connecting Up 2008 - ‘Online and Off to the Future' 19th - 20th May 

Registrations are now open for Connecting Up 2008 - ‘Online and Off to the Future’. The conference is to be held on the 19th and 20th of May 2008, at the Hilton Brisbane.
