Thursday, 31 January 2008 – ACS National President, Kumar Parakala announced today the appointment of Ms Kim Denham as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Society.

Mr Parakala congratulated Ms Denham on her appointment and said her experience across a range of executive roles and ICT disciplines will be of enormous benefit to the Society.

“Kim is an energetic and talented ICT professional with experience working within a broad range of industry and stakeholder groups. Her extensive career includes work within government, the private sector, the public sector and the community. Kim’s diverse experience and her strong understanding of the member base made her a stand-out candidate for the position. She has a passion for the industry, and her insight into the pressing issues affecting ICT such as careers, globalisation and professionalism is impressive,” said Kumar. “Her experience and interests very much align with the areas of major focus for the ACS in 2008.
