The NQ Chapter is not only the oldest QLD Chapter, but the oldest ACS Chapter in Australia still operating! Formed in October 1971.

Regular Annual events include:

• August/Sept: ACS/WIT Great Debate - NQ Style!
• October: NQ Chapter Annual Dinner
• Nov/Dec: Christmas BBQ

ACS North Queensland Chapter is committed to bringing ACS National PD events to Townsville, topical guest speakers and site visit's.
