RMIT University recognises the successful completion of the ACS Diploma of Information Technology for credit towards the Bachelor of Technology (Computing Studies) www.rmit.edu.au/compsci/bp232
Students who complete the ACS Diploma of Information Technology will be eligible to receive 96 credit points of advanced standing (one year) through exemption from:
· Introduction to Programming;
· Introduction to Information Technology;
· Student Electives x 6
This is on condition that the student has achieved a GPA of at least 60% in the ACS Diploma. A further 2 years of study (16 courses = 192 credit points) is required to complete the BP232 degree.
This agreement is subject to change should either the ACS Diploma of Information Technology or the BP232 degree change. Both parties hereby undertake to inform each other if changes arise.
Applicants must meet both the academic admission requirements as well as the RMIT English language requirement to be considered for entry.
