Bhuvan Unhelkar FACS

Bhuvan Unhelkar is the tutor for the New Technology Alignment subject and a member of the Faculty Board. Bhuvan has more than two decades of strategic as well as hands-on professional experience in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry. As a Founder of MethodScience.com, Bhuvan has demonstrated consulting and training expertise in business analysis (use cases, BPMN) software engineering (object modelling, Agile processes and quality), collaborative web services, Green IT (environment) and mobile business. His domain experience includes banking, financial, insurance, government as well as telecommunication organisations. Bhuvan earned his Doctorate in the area of 'object orientation' from the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1997. Since then, he has authored/edited 15 books in the areas of collaborative business, globalisation, mobile business, software quality, business analysis/processes, the UML and Green ICT, and has extensively presented and published papers and case studies. He is an adjunct Associate Professor at University of Western Sydney and is currently authoring (with Taylor and Francis, 2010/11) The Art of Practicing Agile: Applying Composite Agile Method and Strategy to Real Projects and Green IT: Strategies and Applications. Bhuvan is a sought-after orator, as well as being a Life member of Computer Society of India, Rotarian at St.Ives (Paul Harris Fellow), Discovery volunteer at NSW parks and wildlife, and a previous TiE Mentor.
